Private Yoga & Meditation

How do I benefit from yoga?
Yoga gives you strength, balance, and flexibility both physically and mentally. The practice of yoga can heal the body as well as transform the mind, heart, and emotions. The transformational part of the practice will support you in letting go of all things that no longer serve you and creating space for something new. In yoga, we experience oneness between our body, mind, breath, and soul which brings us relaxation, freedom, and a peaceful state of mind.
Do I need to be flexible to practice yoga?
You don’t have to be flexible to practice yoga; give yourself time to become more flexible. Yoga will help you develop flexibility within the body and mind, but this can take time. See your yoga practice as a lifetime journey of inner transformation, which can be very subtle and slow but can also occur in leaps and bounds. Remember that we are all built differently, so never compare yourself with other yogis. Try to give yourself the freedom to do your practice and see what happens.
Is meditating something I can learn, and how can it benefit me?
Meditating can be challenging. I often hear people say: ‘meditating isn’t something for me; I need to move. Meditating promotes relaxation, focus, and a deep connection with your intuition, which can help you know who you are and what you want in life. It isn’t called a practice for nothing; if you are new to meditation, try it for 1 minute, then 2 minutes, then 3 minutes, and so on. A common misconception is that meditating means being thoughtless. Please don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s completely normal that thoughts arise. During meditation, we learn to acknowledge and embrace yet release our thoughts.
Do I need to be an experienced yogi to book private yoga classes?
Private yoga classes are designed especially for you and are accustomed to your level. Whether you’re an experienced yogi or just starting, the private classes are a great way to develop and deepen your practice. The personal approach you experience within these private sessions offers a dedicated and unique experience, bringing better quality to your practice and a stronger connection to yourself and your teacher.
Why should I choose you as my yoga teacher?

I’m the right person for you if you want to embark on a holistic journey towards both physical and mental self-love. I deeply respect the yoga philosophy, and I’m always aware of keeping a safe alignment within the yoga postures. Still, as yoga teacher and self-love coach, I also leave space for creativity through intuitive movement and cultivating a conscious state of mind.

Do you only teach in English?
The main reason for communicating in English on my online platforms is my international client base and my love for sharing this work’s beauty beyond borders. But of course, Dutch is perfectly fine too. Just inform me of your preferences, and I can adjust to your wishes.
How do you incorporate spirituality in your yoga classes?
The spiritual side of yoga offers a lot of ‘fruit for thought.’ I think it’s fascinating to find out what resonates with us and what we can implement into our way of being. Every yoga session and meditation is supported by a spiritual theme, which I try to touch upon throughout the session. While teaching, I find it very important that people flow with purpose and intention so they can feel that the practice is much more than just a physical exercise. What I share on a spiritual level is what inspires me the most at that moment, so the themes are picked very intuitively.
